Academic Scholarship Information
First-Year Academic Scholarship
This scholarship of $1,500 per academic year is available to district high school graduating seniors who attend Carl Sandburg College as full-time students the fall immediately after graduation. Students must have a high school grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Application deadline: 5:00 p.m. on April 1
Second-Year Academic Scholarships
Full-time sophomores who were first-year Academic Scholarship recipients, have maintained a 3.0 grade point average, and have completed 30 semester hours by the end of the spring term, may apply for a second-year Academic Scholarship of $1,500.
Students who meet the requirements must re-apply to receive a Second-year Academic Scholarship.
